All our templates are CNC milled from CFC core Melamine Sheets. These templates are designed to be inserted into "The Master Door Jig" giving you full adjustment and attachment capability to the door slab you are prepping for hardware.
There are 2 different depths that need to be prepped for this strike. Simply clamp on "The Master Door Jig" to desired location. Insert one of the temples for your first depth and then simply swap to the next template for your next depth. No need to remove or realign the first template to the second. The Master Door Jig holds everything where it should be.
Each template is designed with a 1/16" offset for the use of a rub collar and or 1/16" offset bearing in a router. This design enables the template to endure more use and gives you more control of your depth and size bit you like to use.
